Letter From the Director
Dear Friends of St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen,
It is my honor and privilege to serve as the Director of St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen.
Recently, Henry came to me after he had eaten his meal. He told me that he has been eating at the Kitchen for the past three months, because he has been unemployed for almost a year.
Henry said, “I won’t be coming every day starting Monday because I finally found a job. God bless you for what you do here. I would not have made it if not for the Kitchen. I will still come on weekends because it will help me get back on my feet.”
Henry and the hundreds of men, women and children we feed weekly are the reason for our Mission. Feeding the hungry is an honor. Working along side our Advisory Board, our hundreds of volunteers, our thousands of donors, and staff is God’s love in action. It gives each of us a chance to see God face to face.
Let us together continue to provide Hope!
